did you try to reboot your device? if no then try to reboot first and see if that helps. if yes then you can try clear cache first by going to settings from Home Screen, apps, click on buzz tv 5 from recently opened apps, and clear cache only and try to reopen app and see if that helps. if not then you can try clear data within same settings but this will erase buzz tv 5 settings including your server settings.

I don't have anniversary edition but non of my devices have .956 so not sure but try what I suggested and see if that helps.

from home screen go to settings, apps, in recently opened apps click on buzztv 5, and clear data. now wait couple of minute and go to servers and add server again and see if that helps.
also your iptv version is correct 5.0.956?

thats server issue. contact your service provider.

Old guy here... Thank you for the response!
Can you direct me to Buzzes email and is the device ID the MAC address?
under the box you see Mac and s/n so you can provide either one and here's the email cs@buzztv.com

I do not see a way to actually "shut off" bluetooth, so I unpaired the remotes.
Now that I am using IR and set power to "standby" the Blue LED stays on in "standby"
When remotes were paired with bluetooth, and powere was set to "standby" the blue power LED changed to red.
So turning off bluetooth should not have any bearing on the power LED in "standby" indicating there is now a different function controlling "standby"
On other models this is not the csse. Bluetooth ON, power to "standby" when activated, power LED goes red.
I will try iin this config to see if the dropping WIFI is also corrected.
thanks
my X5 stays in red when in standby however it was staying blue like yours when it was connected via bluetooth.
my X5 SS had a little different issue where my P6 was keep waking my X5 SS up every other minute. no other buzz device created that interference. as soon I powered off P6 until my X5 SS never woke up on its own. so I would suggest try to turn off any other buzz device around your house or any other bluetooth device in your house and see if that helps.

on my regular classic I have latest version. then I uninstalled YouTube update and YouTube showed same version as yours. I tried to launch and it was keep crashing. then after reboot same version as yours started to work without any issue. then I went to aptoide and updated again and still working fine. try to clear data on YouTube then update from aptoide.

have you tried uninstalling YouTube and reinstalling and see if that helps rather than doing factory reset?

my x5 was doing almost same where I have to reboot to fix every other day. one day I turned off Bluetooth and ever since its on stand by mode and on click instant live tv and never had to reboot. but if you say it has nothing to do then I guess I have to agree with you

Thanks Emporium, Hardwiring my unit via cat5 still will not correct the intermitting loss of power back n from Standby.
Incidentally I have never had any Buzz unit do this and I have had plenty. This X5 definitely has issues that needs attention.
I also am going to try another X5 out of box to see if similar issues arise and forward that info to Buzz.
For the time being, I have changed Standby to Power Off, and waiting for box to turn on, load firmware, load software, wait for channels to update, and wait for CEC to turn on TV is really not that bad, but its nice to have a quick picture, instant on without the wait, thats why Buzz has this defaulted in use out of box.
RYU, switching to IR from Bluetooth ? That would have nothing to do with dropping the prior WIFI "connected" to "saved" and no connection.
Plenty of signal strength, actually more than using the U5, so the X5 disconnects for some reason, lets see what happens with the second X5 unit.
Larry
ok thanks for the info

My X5 has similar issues, just purchased and here are the issues.
Every so often the unit gets stuck in Standy Mode will not power wake. Have to unplug the power which resets the unit. This happens at least once or twice a week now. Second issue is in Standby, the X5 drops connection from the WiFi. This has been confirmed I can go to WiFi setings and the signal it was "connected" to now says "saved"
You have to actually manually connect again. These 2 issues are annoying and after reading these Posts, there may be a firmware issue. This is not a IPTV Server issue. This is not a Router issue because other Buzz U5s work flawless.
I used a U5 in this same connection scenerio with no issues for years. Only the X5 has 2 intermitting problems.
turn off bluetooth and try with IR mode for a week and see the result.
