    This is only available on Android 11 models

    The 4900 uses Android 9

    BuzzTV is not in the Samsung Brand List
    So what you want to do won't work.

    You can access all XXX channels directly from the "All Channels" category, and there is no unlock required.  And the worst part, is if you access them from the "all channels" category, they do end up in you channel history 😉  Even after surfing a few channels, if I go the adult category and try to select a channel, it does ask me to unliock.

    I just tested it on 5.0.799 with my main service.  Don't know if it is a "tagging" issue, but it has been like this for as far as I can remember.  Pretty sure I had the same behaviour with another service.

     

     

     

    You're correct about that behavior happening on 799

    We had some sellers complain about this
    Its been fixed in current internal beta of 859
    And will be included in our next update.

    I would check permission settings of the app itself

    As those are usually required when you want any app to access Data/Files/Media.

    From Internal Storage or External USB/SD Card?

    Recordings get saved into either of these folders
     

    /storage/emulated/0/Android/media/buzzxr4000.tv/
    /storage/emulated/0/Android/media/com.buzz.services.pvr/

    If on an External USB/SD, just plug that into a PC and look in those folders to transfer them to your PC

    If on Internal Storage, you will need transfer them onto a USB to take them to your PC

    Does it give any error message at the top when in this screen?

    If so, what is it?

     

    If not, have you tried Wipe Data/Reset and then rebooting to see if it boots into the Welcome Screen?

    Holding down the Power button on the side of the box, acts as the Reset button as well
    The same thing for the E5 and HD5.

    Make sure you're using the Primary Player in Live TV if you want to use TS
    As TS does not work on the Backup Player

    Also make sure you have the correct storage selected for TS in PVR Options.

     

    I would also advise formatting it as External Storage, for the best results
    Or Format with a PC as DIshuser suggests
    EXfat or NTFS are the best format options

    Next time

    Highlight the BG Image Icon
    Long Press the OK button
    It will delete your background image and revert back to the original.

    2. In our testing. 98% of all TVs worked via CEC. If they had CEC. We did find that some TVs settings required CEC to be turned on. 

    3. Android 11 doesn't support this. So we removed it.

    The issue is you have no internal memory left on the box. We have had 5 users already with this exact same issue via support. 

     

    This is usually caused by having too many recordings recorded to the internal memory.  If the box doesn't have enough internal memory, the OTA will not work.

    Sounds like the server you're using is blocking the use of VPNs

    Good to hear.

    There are 2 stream types usually
    TS and HLS

    Some work better than others, it varies
    So as long as it works, that's all that matters.

    UPDATE: I figured it out... And it was MY fault. I mixed a 5v power supply up with the 12v power supply. Most issues solved. Remote still has a life of its own when scrolling through the cheeseburger menu, it simply takes off and scrolls nonstop. And I just upgraded the new BuzzTV firmware. Getting periodic freezing now... Going to go make some more adjustments. Screen resolution went to 1080p and the auto switch to best resolution was turned on. I turned it off and set the screen resolution to 1080i.     You can try factory resetting the remote

    Hold down the 0 + Down button on the remote for 5 seconds. It will blink to confirm its been reset. 

     

    It will work as an IR remote after doing this. You can re pair the remote from the Buzz Smart Remote App

     

    I think it might have just been a bad connection between the remote and the box.

    If also freezing on external

    The issue isn't with Buzz 5. It's either a slow WiFi connection to the box or a server related issue

    You can download and install the Analiti app from the app store. And run tests. If the DB rating is around -64Db. Then your box has a bad WiFi signal.
