Open VPN will be added soon.
Linux has no apps for VPN that work with remotes. You could Always just use a VPN on your router.

Have you tried changing the password for your account?
I know in the past some users have had their accounts hacked and shared online, so that could be what is causing 7 connections at a timeAs our app would not cause this otherwise.

You can either do that from the SERVER screen, if you edit the server there is are 3 options at the bottom, one of them is for EPG Source. Change it from XML to SERVER. That options only on Buzz 5
Buzz 6 only uses Server EPG right now, it sounds to me like Server EPG isn't working right now on the server they're using
Only XML EPG is
I suggested to try changing it to Server EPG on Buzz 5 to rule that out

On Buzz 5
In the Configuration menu for the server you're using, try changing EPG Source from XML to Server
If Server gives no EPG, then it means EPG is down using that Source on the server you're using.
The P6 currently uses Server EPG on XC Username and Password only
We will add XML support soon-

Second issue is P6 keeps disconnecting (forgets) my m.2 NVME external drive that I have formatted as internal. I have to reboot the P6 in order for it to be recognized and usable again. This happens almost daily after waking up the shield. (2nd and 3rd picture)
Third issue is some apps not playing sound on my Vizio sound bar using HDMI cable. Paramount+ was one of the apps. It would actually play sound on the preview but if I go watch a show, any show no sound. Since they fixed the Bluetooth I just use my Vizio sound bar with Bluetooth and works with no issue.
The external drive issue listed above is by far the worse of the 3 issues I have at the moment.
Did you format the Drive before or after the previous OTA we sent?
As we fixed this issue with the drives on the last OTA, and it might require you formatting it again

We have it added back for the next Public Firmware updateMe personally, I prefer using File Browser to side load apps, as it shows file names better than App Installer

Took the V20240927 update, and now Appinstaller is gone on my box also. So it is not an isolated case. Strange.
Did another factory reset, and it cleaned up everything, including Disney+ and Netflix
You no longer notice a message in the middle saying "installing yxyxyxyx" one after the other for the "preinstaled apps". But they are being installed in the background without any actual notice. I keep going into "All Apps" and backing out, and you do eventually see Netflix and Disney+ show up.
I personally liked the dialog in the center after the first boot that would show you that it was installing apps, so you knew to just wait
But Appinstaller is gone. Did hard and soft resets, no difference.
Will need to look into where App Installer went

This afternoon I connected the one of the XRS4500 Boxes to the router after rebooting the modem and my friends router and the box gave me the same error message. I connected directly to the modem one at a time and both boxes worked fine. So I brought the router here and connected it to my modem and plugged in my XRS4000 box to the router and my box works fine. My next thought is to reset the router and take it back to my friends house and try it again. The router is a D-Link R18 router. Any thoughts about this issue? Try hot spotting your phone to the boxes at their house
If it works when doing that, but doesn't work when connected to their Internet
Then it means their ISP is now blocking the server, you would need a VPN to get around this
It probably explains why the boxes work at your location, but not theirs
Using a Hot Spot will rule this out.

Problem is mainly with recorded playback. This problem has been going on for years.
I've had every box made since the BuzzTV XR4000, 3 different ISP's, VPN or No VPN & all had this problem.
Just bought 2 new BuzzTv X5 SS, same problem on playback, Media format is not supported
Have you tried playing the recordings back on VLC or MX Player to see if they work there?
