This is absolutely doing my head in. The home button is there to go back to Home Screen. No idea why the back button needs to go there as well. Because it always used to go back to the channel you're already on I keep hitting it and accidentally going to home now.. Then if I click live TV is crashed back to home first time and I have to click a second time.. After resetting my box recently it was working flawlessly. This update has made it very annoying to use.

Try using Fast Login, instead of Default

Then when I go to the section no shows will play anymore. If I reset the app the shows are found again and work. But using search does the same again. After a while it starts working and it's fine. Then randomly at any time in the future it'll do the same again (takes 10 minutes of resetting and retrying to get search to work and not delete all my shows and VOD).

If it was on provider side Cloudflare), it shouldn't work at all on xc api, on every app. But it work xc api with other app, and on buzz tv it works on m3u with same credential. I maybe dumb or miss something but I cannot see what cloudflare has to do with that.
And vpn has no impact because I tryied with and without and no change.
Try using Fast Login for Login Type instead of Default

Yes, Tivimate and IMplayer and installed on this same box and both working with m3u/xc api format without trouble
No special characters in username nor password. Once again it works like a charm for 2 years (with same provider) and suddenly stopped working properly. I haven't tryied any other provider
You're using the exact same account on tivimate?
As that app stays logged in, even in the background
The error message you're getting is a cloudflare error, its basically kicking the app connection
We have no control over this-

These steps resolved the issue
Go into Android Settings
Go to Device Preferences
Go to Display and Sound
Go to Advanced sound settingsGo to Select Formats
I think you have it set to none:never use surround sound
Switch it to None
And it should fix Primar player with the unknown stream error issueWe figured this out via PM

The error message you're getting is a CloudFlare error. And since you're using a VPN, CloudFlare blocks a lot of IPs from VPNs as you're not the only one using that IP address
Usually trying different cities etc on your VPN will resolve the error. And rebooting the box as well.

To Receive the Update, just Press the Home Button on the Remote and wait 60 seconds it should appear

I have played around with the stream type from automatic to ts or m3u. Some channels work better on the m3u while others work better on the ts stream format. Unfortunately, the kicking you out to the home screen is still prevalent but not as much as the automatic option.
the problem seems to have become more noticeable after the latest update.
I sideloaded tivimate to the box, and it recognized all the different stream types on the landed channels automatically with a much better and smother channel changes. Not once kicks out to the home screen.
Primary mode never kicks out to home screen but it won't recognize certain stream types.
This is happening on more than one end user using the e5 models and the classic models.
Can buzz can implement the different stream types into the primary player instead of changing the stream type and format.

Do you have tunneled playback or RTS turned on in the configuration menu?
And Backup Player is libvlc, so it going back to the home screen means the player is crashing on that stream.
And the stream format feature, is just there to show what the server offers
Its default to AutoMost servers only offer TS or HLS
Auto plays HLS first and if that doesn't work it uses TS
We can't add more, as every provider offers it themselves, and it doesn't work the way you think it does
Some servers offer RTMP, but its rare.-
