more information is always better.
do you power off your box or leave it on? what's your power off setting? is that Mac or XC API? how do you turn back on your device? do you press any button other than power?

send your Mac address and serial number, model of the box and ask them for the update.
once connected to rv network then go settings and see what IP address its showing on network settings. for example it might be 192.168.1.55 or whatever is just open up browser on your box and enter that IP address. it should open up login page.
