Sorry I realized we removed that from PVR options as it wasn't working properly. If you have scheduled recordings and leave the box on the Home Screen It will automatically record them in the background, and stop using Internet once the recording is finished. And yes, if just on the Home Screen or open to another app like YouTube and not watching any videos The box should not use any internet bandwidth or much at all really. It will once you press the Live TV Button.

In PVR Options There should be a feature called Auto Shut Off If turned ON, it should turn the box back off once its done recording. This feature is still being worked on fully though on the 4500s and 4900s However if you setup a scheduled recording and the box is in standby, it usually just boots to the Home Screen and records in the background. So once the recording is finished, it stays on the Home Screen and no Internet is being used by Live TV. The Shut Off feature in the Configuration menu, is just to disconnect Live TV As users requested this feature to save internet bandwidth in case they fall asleep.

Are there any icons/thumbnails showing what you recorded? If not, I think you have a permissions issue with storage When on the Home Screen Go to Settings Scroll down to Apps Select see all apps Find Buzz 5 Click on Permissions Make sure Storage is turned ON Turn it ON When you reopen PVR Your thumbnails should appear now, and your recordings should be able to be played back.

This is the old interface The Youtube video is just outdated showing our older Home Screen. All new boxes since September have been getting the newer interface.

We made the Blue button function as mark as played on main VOD list + episodes list in today's Daily Beta Version 698.

So give an option to Mark as Played like we do with Mark as Unplayed?

Ok If your using Buzz Beta, you can also change the player for VOD and try an external player like MX Player or Kodi or something else. If they are still Dark, then it means the movies your server are providing are probably the issue.

I think you might have a different picture setting setup From the Home Screen go to settings Go to Advanced settings row Go to Picture See what your Picture mode is set to, you might have it set to Custom Which could be why its so Dark. The setting I prefer is Sport.

The Default Player built into the Buzz App is already VLC Its libvlc, so is the player itself without the UI of VLC But you can still use VLC as external player if you want.

Its a bug we have during the recording process Were working on fixing it. You can just close it using the back button whenever it appears for now.

We currently do not have this feature available.

Were now aware of this issue It seems to only happen when scheduling recordings through the EPG If you schedule them manually this doesn't happen We will fix it.

This is a good suggestion But after some discussion with the team, its currently not doable as it would take too long to resize all of our menus to support this feature We will try to increase the Font sizes though a bit in a future update We have done this already for Movie Info + TV Show Episodes and Info pages, to be included on our next update.

Yes there is When in Live TV or VOD Press Menu Button Go to settings Go to Configuration You can change the Player for VOD/TV Series to External The next time you play a Movie or TV Show, you will be shown the external video players you have installed on the box and can choose which one you would like to use.

We currently do not have this feature It would be similar to Fav Groups, which is apart of our current Road Map Its a good request though But we need to finalize a Public version of Buzz 5 first before we can start working on it
