    You can see if the backup/restore function is working I think it is The reset will not get rid of update but if something went wrong with your update it should fix it.You will lose all the server settings etc and apps you have loaded

    I would try a different hdmi cable first then if that is not the issue I would do a reset

  13. i think you will have to wait for a bug fix You can stop the message appearing by hitting app info on the pop up and turning notifications off
