  1. So I was informed we will ship you a UK power supply to try. So once received. Try it and let us know Thanks.
  2. I think you may have gotten these 2 mixed up. The 4500 and Android 9 boxes. We were backing up the entire OS. So yes depending on the amount of data you had on the box. It could take 45 minutes. As you're backing up GBs of data. On Android 11 devices with our recent OTA update. We made a new Backup/Restore feature for the Buzz app only. So yes taking 3 seconds is normal as the data is basically 1MB or less in size.
  3. That sounds more like a storage permission issue on Buzz app or something. You can check this by doing the following From the Home Screen Settings Apps Buzz 5 Permissions See what it says for Files and Media Either Allow or Deny As for CEC Open the Smart Remote App Click HDMI CEC If the top 3 options for CEC are turned on. Turn them off and turn on both Virtual CEC options.
  4. Then there is only 2 settings I can think of that would prevent this From the Home Screen Go to Settings Go to Device Preferences Go to Display and Sound Go to Advanced sound settings Make sure Select formats is on Automatic And you can try S/PDIF Output either ON or OFF to see if it makes a difference.
  5. Using SPDIF/Optical to the receiver Or HDMI?
  6. Not an option on MAC servers, only XC and M3U
  7. Sometimes servers use custom APIs for things like EPG.
  8. Yes but there are 2 things it shows when no info or guide being shown No information available. Means the server has no guide for those channels If its on loading... That could be an api issue on the Buzz app.
  9. @crunker Please look at my question Thanks
  10. Backup Player is VLC. Its libvlc as this version doesn't require the GUI and is open source, its main use is for Movies and TV shows. Not Live TV That's why channel changing is slower.
  11. Does the guide say No information available or Loading..??
  12. Thanks for trying They must have changed something in some updates then Been awhile since I have used it
  13. Right now lots of our staff are on vacation So our current response times are 24-48 Hours
  14. We have tried this repeatedly on numerous channels with 5.1 audio It works on multiple sound bars and Stereo Receivers we use for testing. Even 7.1 Audio as well. We tested this using the Primary Player on both Live TV + VOD/TV Series You can check which Player you're using in the Configuration menu of the Buzz app
  15. Only if your server has 2+ connections If one connection, its using the foreground PVR So if you suspend the device during this, the recording will end. If you left it on standby and had a scheduled recording though, it will record in the background.
  16. It was disabled on this update, due to some issues found We will look at re adding it on our next update
  17. Try CETUS Play in the Play store

    Updates

Sent a new Update on Aug 24th https://stbtalk.com/index.php?/topic/13741-new-official-u5-firmware-buzz-5-app-update-aug-24th-2023/
  19. Only the first power supply is the one that came with the box The other 2 will not power the U5 properly.
  20. The firmware was tested a ton on HEVC and 4K Channels And none of these issues appeared Our last Firmware update was in March This ones been worked on since So its not a RAW update. And we only mentioned that the RAM on your box could be corrupt and what is causing your issues Or it could be something else hardware wise, even an HDMI Cable by chance
  21. Right now it seems video chip is dead or close to be dead on your box. or some RAM issues if RAM is dead then it would explain random crashes and why EPG doesn't load as EPG loads on the RAM.
