We made no changes that would affect playback of PVR recordings. Have you tried playing them on VLC?

Yes this is how its designed now Its to ensure recordings work even when the box is in Standby. This also works on the HD5. However.... On the X5 and U5 If you have it set to Shutdown for Power Off And you have scheduled recordings, the box will wake up to do those recordings It wakes up 2 minutes before the scheduled recording, as those models have an RTC battery inside them The 4500s and 4900s also have the RTC Battery in them for this same feature.

There is no hunch The First Beta you took using 2015 Method, upgraded you to the original Beta from January Which was running 5.0.653 for Buzz 5 We sent an app OTA to that version a few days ago to upgrade all users to Version 5.0.766 As stated in another thread. Our servers automatically detect boxes that are running Version 5.0.653 and send them an update automatically to Version 5.0.766.
