No there is not a problem with the x5. Could be server/box conflict ,conflict with router etc.You might want to fo a hard reset if you havnt first

Your guy can't reimage your box. It doesn't work that way.
You should do a hard reset and if that doesn't work do some troubleshooting bad cable ,power supply etc
