I havnt done a pin reset on a stick yet but it erases everything and starts setup again when done I am not near my stick right now but I can advise better later this afternoon There is a guide in the xrs 4500 section on how to do a hard reset It should be the same process except the hole is on the side near the ir hole

I doubt its updating either You normally have a progress bar

Do you have a friend with a buzz unit? Almost all the buzz remotes will work except the arq100

Powering off and on does nothing? Do a h pin reset and try again

What happens when you do a pin reset?

You hardwired? Or wifi? Did you try the other media player? Install a speed test on your unit and check your speeds Is it just live tv that is buffering? I didnt notice any difference with live tv on 5 different servers

Just another note I dont think the issue is the remote I think the stick is locking up on that screen Even if bluetooth is not working it should still work as an IR remote

Issue has been reported a few times already Thanks I was able to do a temp fix by going to settings, advanced settings power key definitions and selecting suspend A quick hit of power key will turn it off (for me anyway) Try it and report if it works for you

You might have to do a hard reset using a thumbtack in the reset hole on side of stick

I didnt know your screen was frozen When you disconnect power and start does it go through the boot process?

It's not possible

Plug in it extender ,go to settings ,remotes and confirm its paired

I didnt update so that might be the difference

i started running youtube about an hour ago Not having any issues with it I dont use kodi so cant comment

just installed cyberflix from cyberlix site ,downloaded.went to downloads and installed It runs fine without a mouse version 3.3

Did you try the mouse function Most versions of cyberflix have been getting no data message. Which version are you using?

I am not sure if the mate is getting the same update as the buzz 4000 and 4500 Allaboutbuzz can confirm if it is If it is getting an update you wont have that issue

I understand that but if you hook up the ir extender you can see if it will turn it on
