after installation my x5 load up properly, connected but no video. changed player but nothing. reboot box all good. no issues at all and running fast.

different firmware

have no issue getting guide using a mac account on both models

I had no volume control until I turned max volume off. It was off before download

Yes you are correct the BT400 has no mute button but XRS 4500 remote does which is what I was using during the upgrade.

Sorry if this cause some confusion in my reply, will be more clear in the future.

prefix buzztv u5 after the last update on channels with the hevc codec, the picture shows for a while then freezes and the sound goes on. And on channels with the av1 codec, everything works fine. 2 why not all tracks are seen by the main player? The alternative player sees all the tracks but it closes. The interface of the set-top box is constantly rebooting. Stopped loading epg.xml constantly writes it is not possible to load xml.epg. Why did you break everything again? In another room there is x128 buzztv there is an old update so everything works as it should and hvec channels. Then I also noticed if you switch to the 4k channel and press the OK button, white stripes fly out on the whole screen and close all content until you press the back button, then everything is OK. In general, you broke everything again (

Right now it seems video chip is dead or close to be dead on your box. 

 

or some RAM issues

 

 if RAM is dead then it would explain random crashes and why EPG doesn't load as EPG loads on the RAM.

did anybody force you to upgrade? was that update got installed automatically? did you read before you download and install? how many post have you seen like yours? you are panic for no reason and its to early to panic. give us chance to help you. have you clear cache? did you clear epg?

epg, I cleared the cache, but I did not find where to clear it. I'm not panicking, I just don't understand why posting a raw update? Updated because the old software got its own problems. And where does the chip or RAM? When everything shows well, namely on 4k channels, when you switch to it, everything is ok, but it’s worth pressing ok, so such a ripple thing comes out. You press the button back on the picture and everything again shows the picture normally.
