you should not move apps to external drive. thats the reason its locking. try to add drive but dont move apps..etx to that drive. do you have SSD to test and try?

mine works fine and I did not watch that video. however, did you even click on the link nbs posted for you and checked that thread? im doubt but heres follow this. 1. Connect your usb stick to any of USB port. (USB 3.0 works better) 2. Go to settings 3. Click storage 4. Click on your usb stick 5. You should see option erase and format as removable storage. So click on it. (If you dont see this option then format your usb first and once done dont use usb as a internal storage. Just click on move later and start from step 3 again. Now you should see erase and format as removable storage option. 6. Click format 7. Once done, now you should see usb as removable storage. 8. keep pressing back until you get to home screen 9. Now click live tv 10. While watching live TV press menu 11. Go to PVR 12. Go to PVR Options 13. Turn on Timeshift 14. Click Timeshift Cache Storage and select your USB and go back 15. Timeshift Cache Size (up to as much you want, 2 GB is good enough) 16. Download Storage select your USB 17. Now when you go to live TV and you should see TS option lid up on bottom right next to CC REC and HD info. If not press info button to see it in bottom right corner. 18. Now you should see white solid line on top of blue line indicating you can go back up to that time. You should be able to use pause and rewind function now. 19. If you dont see TS option in info bar that mean you won’t be able to rewind/pause this channel or stream

thanks nbs for confirmation. first I thought it did not installed properly because when it installed it did not changed version number. then around two minutes later app crashed and got installed properly but I did not see any info posed up that shows what was changed/fixed. usually it does but not this time.

looks like beta version .749 does not go to last channel/channels if I hold last button, I can see the last channels list but it does not go to any of those channels when I click them. tried on 4 different servers and it happened only twice when it did changed but took a little while. buzztv xrs 4900 using XC API and buzz app version beta .749 thanks

no its not missing. thats how its been. click on hamburger icon next to edit button first. then highlight whatever file you want to edit/delete..etc then you click that edit button again. now you should be able to do whatever you want to do.

you can if you want to. audio should be much better via hdmi or optical cable from box to surround bar vs box to tv then tv to surround bar.

keep volume zero on TV bacuse you want to hear from surround system. yes the way you have it works and thats how I had for my parents as well before I switched to optical but they dont really care about audio and can not really tell difference lol. they just want audio and video does not matter even if it SD lol. however, its always better to get audio straight from your device to your surround bar so you can hear best straight from your device to surround bar.

I would take HDMI from box to surround bar then HDMI out from surround bar to tv. then I would also take optical cable from box to surround bar. with this setup I have choice to hear either from tv or surround bar if you decided to hear from surround bar only with above setup I would keep volume to zero. for my parent I ran HDMI cables from 3 devices to tv then optical cable from tv to surround bar. I change audio settings to optical in my tv so this way no matter what they play it plays on surround bar without touching another remote or changing settings.

they are trying to help you and thats not how you reply. it does have to do with your tv because your tv is not turning off with remote but without trying everything you can not say its remote thats broken. in the end it might be remote but without trying everything you can not say its the remote.

while watching catchup press arrow up and down does not take you to live tv. arrow up takes you to second channel and arrow down takes you to last channel in channel category instead of live tv.

beta 742 still same issue. tried both up and down button and did exactly what OP wrote. but in catch up if I press back button it asks me to go live or continue catch up and if I click live and it works fine.
