  1. you did not get recovery screen? if possible try a different power supply to see if that helps and if its still under warranty I would contact buzztv support.

  3. not sure if the power supply was disconnected and if yes make sure using original power supply. also, try a different outlet if possible. try to disconnect all external devices like usb, or external drives and swap hdmi cable. if still nothing then factory reset using AV hole with tooth pick.
  4. all remote controls from buzz have a simple functions. no need to touch any other buttons. however, you can buy BT-400 if you don't have one. For my mom I have CEC enabled on X5 using BT 200 and one power button turns on both box and tv. Then it goes to live tv to favorite channel list. all she presses channel up and down and volume up and down period.
  5. btw, they both offer AV1 support but rock chip has better open source support.

I checked right after allaboutbuzz posted this thread and it said update available but will say reboot without installing. so I tried to reboot and nothing changed. it said update available from Home Screen, setting as well as from buzztv app but won't install. so yes I tried as you mentioned as well as left ON for hours too, turned off for some time too and restart and nothing. now it says no update available and still has not update. I will leave it on until Friday and see if any change otherwise factory reset is only option.

  11. no but similar electricians are available all over the world. but not necessary due to electricians, parts can go bad, animal can damage and wires can come loose over the time.
  12. lol yeah its kind of odd happening in two countries for this person so have to be something common which is electrical wiring lol
  13. those locations might have faulty electric wiring? have you or they tested with an outlet tester that its not hot/neutral/reverse...etc?

  15. if you don't provide all the info then we won't know and have to assume only. so lets see if after reboots works fine. if not then try a different port or ethernet cable or swap router if its from isp.
  16. reboot your network, plus try to forget and reconnect to network and see if that helps.

  18. my p6 was doing this few weeks ago after it got an update but then I hard reboot meaning disconnected power for 1 minute resolved the issue.
  19. contact your server provider. clearing data clears all the settings on buzztv app.

  21. I utilize the network shares feature available in Buzz Utilities to copy and transfer files between my Buzz boxes using my PC. Essentially, on your PC, navigate to the network share devices section, where you should be able to view all Buzz boxes connected to your network, provided that the network share option is enabled on your devices and network.

  23. I don't recommended here other than buzztv hardware/software. however, something I like you may not like or something works for you may not work you. most of the vpn nowadays offer up to month with money back guarantee. I would say try and see how that works for you.
