I've recorded dozens of shows and only had one fail

If the stream is interrupted the recording will stop

also make sure you are powering off box and not putting in standby all the time

try changing media players

did you reboot network (modem router and stb)? if that doesnt work try a vpn

Hard wired? Wifi? How many times have you tried? Some users it took multiple times

did you do a pin reset?

Where did anyone say to download an app to make the box work? Someone did ask if the recording worked with vlc and another app That was to troubleshoot the recording issue
