Whe it is set to shutdown that is what the box does Suspend is the setting that takes it to homescreen right away In my opinion setting it to shutdown is better for the box

Hit the menu button ,settings ,config,and turn on start live yv on boot See if it'll go there

There is no reboot mode. If it's rebooting you need to reset If you can get to powerkey definitions go there and see what settings are
