I did a factory set on mine and it stopped

Click on his name and on right hand side of page check his activty

Takes me to the top of the 4000 forum you could also click on the stbtalk icon at top left of page and scroll down

happened to me ,a reset fixed it

Hard wired? Wifi? Try rebooting your network I just tried a 4000 and its updating

you only need the mac address if they asked for it in signing up on their website

Buzz have stated that they only support their usb adapter with drivers so that could be your main issue the mac addy on stick will match device id in server settings the new software coming out will be reduced to one id line

hopefully allaboutbuzz can help you He would need the serial number on bottom of box In the meantime i would start a rma with buzz

A soft reset is done in the menu The hard reset requires you to use a pin and hold a little button down while you plug box in There is a guide here but I cant link it using my phone Use the search button
