Future Feature Request: Mounting and RECORDING/DOWNLOADING to an network shared folder One nice thing to see would be the option to mount an SMB or NFS share (like on a NAS) and use that as a destination for Recordings/Downloads. Also, if in the same directory or subdirectory it can include whatever file (xml or whatever...) is needed to be able to get the show info (show name, epg description if there was any, channel, etc..). That way if you have more than one Buzz box, they can point to the same directory, and everyone can share everyone's recordings/downloads. A huge bonus would be to also have the filenames something more informative (like first 20 characters of show description, followed by date/time of recording). That way when you look at the directory, you have a good idea of what the media files are. Right now, they look like random names, but I am sure it has something to do with the stream URL. Thanks.

Correction - the info above is for AUDIO formats For video, it's Settings--Device Preferences--Display Preferences--Display & Sound, and I have HDR and Resolution set to AUTO. My box is plugged directly into my TV so by choosing Auto the Buzz is handing off the video formatting for the source to my TV to decode.

We will add an ON/OFF switch to the Configuration menu that will allow up to 200% Volume adjustment We should be able to add this within a few weeks in an Update. We will test it first though, as I think VLC for example, only allows up to 125 or 150 because beyond that creates audio distortion

The remote manufacturer made the key code for search and mic the same So were waiting on them to provide us a software update for the remote to fix the issue

Lol.. Zidoo may seem to support on paper. Question is, does Zidoo support YOU after sale, when it does not work as advertised. If you use something like Plex, enjoy trying to get your Zidoo working as expected. And it is radio silence on their part and even to try to fix stuff (that is advertised as supported), everything they recommend is a "workaround" instead of fixing it. And truth be told, 90% of users would not even use those features anyhow or have the rest of the equipment to take advantage of it. It is for about the 10% of users, but most of them have probably already realized that it is all about compromises with streaming boxes. Like I've always said, there is no PERFECT box. They all have weaknesses, flaws and issues. And if anyone tells you otherwise, don't believe them. As an example of weaknesses, The 9x you mentioned only has 2GB of ram, which will be very limiting for some newer apps, and the fact that it only has BT 4.2 could be a dealbrealer for those with bluetooth soundbars and headphones. Disney+ released an update 4th, 14th and 18th We're currently running the 14th update version. We update Disney+ in the background via OTA. This doesn't require firmware updates, so that didn't cause it. Its just a coincidence I am not sure why Disney is so strict on having the latest updates just to use it. We will send the newest 18th version soon and it will update to all active boxes within 48-72 hours.

I had this issue about six weeks ago. I traced the problem down to the last Play Services update. If you uninstall the update login to accounts will work again. However if you have Play Store auto update on (or use Aptoid update) eventually Play Services updates itself and the login will fail again. For now I've turned off auto update, and hopefully Google will get this fixed.

That options only on Buzz 5 Buzz 6 only uses Server EPG right now, it sounds to me like Server EPG isn't working right now on the server they're using Only XML EPG is I suggested to try changing it to Server EPG on Buzz 5 to rule that out
