I have a U5. All recordings start but stop immediately. 00.00:00 is the recorded time. I check for updates and the unit tells me it has the latest update from Aug 2023. Why will it not find this update that is supposed to correct the recording issue???

Ok. Thanks. Just hoping that it gets some attention being an older box and all. I know most discussion centers around iptv, but it does have the juice to run within a home media network. I will be patient and hope
it still gets updates
they can only work on so many projects at once

and amiko isn't an iptv box...lol

without wanting to be pretentious, how many of your users have tested all the latest iptv boxes? I don't want to give you a list of the boxes I tested. But again your product is good. But for a product in this price range (high end), there are things that are incomprehensible to me.
Formuler has almost perfect from a software point of view, but their image quality is less good because of Realtek. Amlogic has better image quality.
Amiko is very good on image quality because it uses Amlogic and not Realtek, they lack certain software features.
By purchasing buzztv, I thought I would find the best hardware and the best software available on the market.
Frankly you lack a few things to be the best on the market.Â
but these few things are very important in my point of view. if you satisfy all your users and your business grows. Keep going.
but honestly I think your sales are well below the sales of formuler
I don't want to fight to change your philosophy, I tried to make you understand certain things. my intentions were misinterpreted. There is no problem concerning me. I thank you for your answers and wish you good luck.
buzztv,global media,ez media,formuler plus a couple of others
do I meet your criteria?lol

I hope the BT500 will resolve this issue.
But honestly it doesn't make sense, for example, if I restart my desktop computer, I do not have to turn my screen off and on.  I restart my computer without turning my screen off and on.
I restart my U5 and I have to turn my television off and on again (if I want to take advantage of controlling the TV volume with the U5 remote control). Seriously, it doesn't make any sense. Maybe no one complains, because people just pull the power plug without bothering to turn off the box. And you know just like me that it's very bad to do that
Â
I've never had to unplug to shut power off
I also don't use suspend because external drives will be constantly using power

Like for example if a user change and unsupported resolution in windows ... I understand your point of view.
But try to understand mine, I am penalized for not being able to choose a complete color range because of the potential ignorance and incompetence of certain users... I don't think it's fair
but in another thread you said 70 year olds aren't technically inclined
now you say screw them because it affects you
pretty selfish if you ask me

you don't have it set to shutdown

If you want to develop the brand, your product must be able to be easily used by a seventy year old person who does not have technological knowledge
buzztv isn't a new product
I've been using them for 8 or 9 years
I had a formuler z8 that I had a hard time giving away ..lol
my mom is almost 90 and never bugs me how to use the box so it's obviously not hard to use

change powerkey option
-
you're the only one complaining it's not an option
it's labelled recently watched not what you want to watch next
everyone else uses favourites or search for that

sorry I did not see the answer from Emporium. It's a solution which works
But what do you think, it will not be a good option to have in recently watched bot "menus" ?
The list with season 1, season 2, etc and also the menu play, continue watching
but you haven't recently watched those episodes
