  4. after initial setup press/menu/settings/configuration to restore buzztv app settings
  5. it doesn't matter reset only affects internal drive
  6. you can use the power button on the box for a hard reset
  7. you can check for updates from home screen as well see what version you have you don't have to go to live tv

  11. you don't need to press info to see if it's recording do what nbs. said but first backup your buzztv app to a stick or card
  12. if you have one button record turned off scroll to the bottom after pressing red button and save even edit time if you want before saving
  13. then you aren't recording are you pressing red button to record?
  14. and you should see a red rec icon in top right corner

  16. catchup worx on mac went back over 7 hours as a test it's your service
  17. I'll have a trial account for mac set up on the service I use to determine if it's a buzztv or service issue
  18. have you always used a mac account?
  19. settings/configuration/stream format also are you using primary player? I have no issues using catchup but that relies on the server storing past programs
  20. are you doing it from guide?
  21. does it have the catchup symbol showing for those channels?
  22. there's plenty of good exteral drives out there for less
  23. possibly,considering it can be used in a 3900 or 4900
