Anyway  X5 remote will not pair for Vizio tv functions; got the 100 and paired  with my tv remote. It is excellent.

you don't pair the arq-100 to the x5

you plug in the wifi adapter

I have the first version and a lot of buttons don't work on the x5

I removed network and removed the power from box.  After that everything worked again.

Last week I returned the box because no app would download. It a virus that corrupted firmware. Buzz Tech reloaded.

I was concerned it had happen again.

I notice every few updates the UI changes

drives me nuts at first...lol

can't test multiple lan connections cause only one cable is being used

maybe tomorrow I'll bring laptop upstairs to try a second connection

I have the BuzzTV X5 model.  I updated to 5.0.766 and for the most part everything works fine, but the bluetooth remote gets unpaired when I turn the box off.  I have to re-pair the BT400 remote every time I turn the box on.  This was not an issue before this update.  Is there a fix for this?

they already said pin reset

but they never answered nbs. so I just wanted to make sure they were pressing and holding down reset before applying power

When I recently upgraded my second 4900 (from buzz4 to 5), it took the first update..  Then after a reboot, I left it on Live TV for about 30 minutes or so, and it eventually pulled in the latest buztv5 version.  So it was not instantaneous, but it did eventually come through.   I think it goes in a queue, and will get sent shortly after.

 

 

the 4900 never used buzz 4
