they're on but the tv it's hooked up doesn't support cec so it doesn't make a difference

earlier today my remote wasn't responding properly so I unpaired and paired it again and remote works fine

try with it off and see if there's a difference

I'm using 5.0.783 and have no issues powering off/on with STB button
