It seems like they have quite a few bugs to work out in the U5 yet, I wish these would have been all worked out before it was put on sale being this is the highest price box they are selling.

those coloured button options have been there for a while

I wouldn't say it's the recordings
when I turn my tv on the x5 goes right to home screen even though it's set to shut down
I select live tv and it comes on instantly
I'm going with Emporium's theory about hdmi

what firmware/software versions do you have?
have you cleared cache for buzztv app?

I posted that ok button worked when using mouse on game pass

pretty sure scheduled would only show if you set it for multi days

use the app
settings/remotes and accessories
hold info button down until it pops up to pair

I've always called it pairing but learning sounds better
that's why I asked originally tv or box because IR dosen't stand for bluetooth
oh and I found a 3rd way to pair a bt400 but that's for another thread...lol

I am still having issues when I try to record back to back shows on the same channel.
Soon I am going to try recording back to back shows on different channels.
I am also going to try three or four recordings at the same time.
I have a 5 connection sub.
that's probably because you have extra recording time selected
