How to program TV or Source keys
1.Press and hold TV+OK for 3s till LED turn solid on and RCU enters learning mode

2.Press the key to be programmed on this RCU. LED begins blinking

3.Aim the TV RCU towards the front of this RCU(distance less than 3cm)Press the button on the TV RCU,if the STB RCU is programmed
correctly,the LED will flash 3 times then turn solid on

4.Repeat steps 2-3 for other keys

5.Exit learning mode by long pressing OK button for 3s,LED flash twice then turn off

I'm trying to find the firmware to reinstall it again just to see if that gives me any luck... because so far not that given option no factory reset have helped me...

Go to settings // More settings // About  // Build version ??
 

1. Press OK+VOD for 3s till LED light up

2. RCU enters Pairing Mode, keep the distance between the RCU and the USB dongle within 30cm,
3. insert the USB dongle into the device,

4. LED flash 3 times then turn off, means pairing succeed.

The pairing mode will only last for 30s, please finish all the steps within the time limitation.

For example, I noticed this particular firmware update bumped the Android security patch level from August 2017 to December 2017 on my unit.

We released the firmware to addressed the recovery issue. Normally we don't release firmware's for many reasons. I will bring to the team to see what they say about future firmware updates. Thanks for your suggestion

re-download the firmware and try again. this should solve the issue.

all the buttons for ARQ100 will work on XPL3900. either your remote has the problem or you can reload the firmware to see if this helps

either you have a old version of buzztv app (go to menu, check for update) or your box memory is almost full. go into android settings to see how much memory you have available

try redownloading from this thread. XPL3900 / XPL3000 share same firmware but it sounds like the XPL3000 version is corrupted.

Hello, 

files were provided promptly. try re-downloading the file here , XPL3900 file is same as XPL3000 however the file could be corrupted when downloading originally.

try formatting your USB key and transferring the file again.

XPL3000 Basic (1GB) uses the same firmware as XPL3000.  So the method on this thread will work on your box.

However we recommend for XPL3000 Basic (1GB) to use Android 6 downgrade for better performance. This can be done by mailing the box or dropping it off at our location www.buzztv.com/rma
