Bluetooth Remote fetaute has Issue on standby

After 5 mins of not using remote it goes into sleep mode Takes one button push to wake it up, and it will reconnect within 3 secs or so then work great after that. Took me about a day to get used to this myself. We will probably be changing the sleep mode from 5 mins to 10 mins though via an OTA update. Just way Bluetooth remotes are, otherwise batteries would die every week. The remote also works as an IR remote if you un pair it from Bluetooth. from buzz late march MTK gave us the source code for the Bluetooth Low Energy module that is used on the new 4500 Remote this morning This will allow us to update the Remote Software via a Firmware update on the 4500 This will take some time to decode + build + test though So will update again once we know more. Just thought we would update for now. -

In my first post in this thread I asked if you gave your server the service id You dont give the server the mac addy which one did you give him?

are you sending the server id on the 4500 ? it starts with 00 1a 79..... no way to change a mac

I would contact your reseller sounds like its server end Change the mac addy of your 3000 to the mac addy of your 4500 and try it in another portal

Again when you entered your server url in the 4500 did you also enter username and password? What message are you getting after you hit connect? I only see one issue

You did say both worked on your 3000 did you not? If you are putting username and password in server area dont

you cant enter the mac url into a streaming line and expect it to work Some servers lock their service onto one device so if its been used on your 3000 it might not work on your 4500

you dont have to to repeat everything you posted in you earlier post You should be using secondary player for live tv Menu configuration As far as not connecting to the server double check the url Your version number should be 4.0.437 Its at bottom of menu If it is still not working properly do a factory set and start again ?

Are you using secondary player? I have no issues using a vpn on wired on buzz 4000 or 4500 Buzz are using the correct term device id 00 1a 79 .... Confused You said you could not connect with two servers but you had freezing issues So you were able to connect with one server?
