On startup gets to BuzzTv icon and flashes

Unplug and restart. 

No changes. 

Can't get to settings for changes.

Ideas please

remove hdmi cable from box and tv and put back in again, try different hdmi if avaible

No changes. New HDMI cable and different input. 

It's been great for probably 5 or 6 months since release date

press home button twice quick then after few seconds press home button once and let it go and see what happens

also, do you have external device connected? if yes then remove them and restart your box and see if it shows up

No changes.  Home did nothing. 

Starts to load, past liquid screen then flashing icon

I guess maybe time to put in recover screen and reset. same procedure for X5

also, if this screen just started to pop now I would leave it alone fr some time if possible to see if it starts to work on its own.

because, factory reset will erase everything.

Nothing plugged in externally.

I'm fine with factory erase.

Can it be restored without access to settings?

if you don't see anything beside that logo then unfortunately thats the only way what you see in the above video.

go all the way down to the page and look at the bottom left corner and change theme to 4.4 default then you will be able to see the video.

scroll to the bottom of any page and in the centre you will see theme with a down arrow

click on that to change theme

hello, i have the same exact issue with a U5 box, the hard reset procedure does not work(toothpick and hold...) with this box. Is it an other way to do it?

i have tried multiple time with different technique i saw on YouTube for other boxes, and nothing works

I have hard reset dozens of times 

You should be able to feel the button(top of av hole)

Are you holding the button down and then powering up box?

Then keep holding it
