Blackmagic Posted October 31, 2021 Posted October 31, 2021 Me and my customers are having issues with Events not recording. I click record in the EPG and after the event is completed it shows as recorded but when I click to play it says No recording found. How do I fix it? My box is set as a MAG box if that matters it has 5 concurrent available. The stream played fine when I was watching it live on another device. 1 Quote
Maestro701 Posted October 31, 2021 Posted October 31, 2021 How do you mean your box is set as a Mag? 1 Quote
nbs. Posted October 31, 2021 Posted October 31, 2021 Also what does 5 concurrent available mean? 1 Quote

Devildog Posted November 1, 2021 Posted November 1, 2021 I'd check anyway as I've had plenty of clients who it wasn't and did exactly what ur describing. When clicked storage permission it was disabled worked fine after 2 Quote
Blackmagic Posted November 3, 2021 Author Posted November 3, 2021 5 concurrent connections means can watch 5 channels at the same time. Setup as a MAG device means setup in XUI with MAC Address. Recording works well when set as M3U or XUI info Recording only doesn't work when set as MAG device because that is the only way to watch Catchup. Does anyone set the box as a MAG device and is able to record? Quote
dishuser Posted November 3, 2021 Posted November 3, 2021 if you mean buzztv 5 app there's only mac,xc api and m3u there's no mag 1 Quote
dishuser Posted November 3, 2021 Posted November 3, 2021 and if you're using mac you can't record one channel and watch another 1 Quote
nbs. Posted November 3, 2021 Posted November 3, 2021 5 concurrent available? set up as a mag box? I like how you invent terms and expect people to know what you are talking about. 1 Quote

Does anyone set the box as a MAG device and is able to record? MAG Devices only allow 1 connection Which means you can only watch and record 1 channel at a time, its just the way Stalker API works. Multi Connections only work on M3U + XC Login/XUI, so if you have 5 connections it means it supports 5 devices. On the 4900, you would be able to use 2 of these connections, if available to Record 1 channel and watch another. You can see how many connections are free by pressing the menu button, go to settings and go to account info. 3 Quote
Blackmagic Posted November 5, 2021 Author Posted November 5, 2021 Thank you @allaboutbuzz @nbs. I will never understand why you are such a angry person and get upset at my questions? If you don't like my questions don't answer them but trying to make fun of me is just very sad! 1 Quote

But you have everyone confused. Then you say you have clients, they must feel the same way when you explain yourself. Just take your time and explain properly. There's no anger on this site. 3 1 Quote
Blackmagic Posted November 6, 2021 Author Posted November 6, 2021 In the IPTV world of terms MAG Device is a common term. Concurrent Streams also known as connections is a common term M3U is a common term XUI is the name of the most popular IPTV software streamers use. What did I say that wasn't common or as .nbs said "I invented terms"? @allaboutbuzz understood all the terms I used. Quote
dishuser Posted November 6, 2021 Posted November 6, 2021 except the fact mag has a box that can use url, username and password so we use the term the buzz box displays which is mac and I've been using iptv for years and you're the first to ever use the term concurrent 1 Quote
nbs. Posted November 6, 2021 Posted November 6, 2021 Plus you never said concurrent streams or connections in your original post You said you have 5 concurrent 2 Quote
Blackmagic Posted November 6, 2021 Author Posted November 6, 2021 You are correct. Concurrent english definition means same time so my mistake not using connections. 1 Quote
