We have a new XRS 4900 Firmware which fixes the not being able to Power Back ON issue It also adds a new feature to program the color buttons to open apps and menu items from the Home Screen Been added to the Remote Control Menu under Buzz Utilities. And now all scheduled recordings will record while the box is in standby in the background. If you have the box set to Shutdown, it will wake to record still. If anyone would like to try it to test and provide feedback You can PM me your MAC from the bottom of the box or the Server ID. -
When you switch them. You need to reload the server to have them switch to the stream type you selected.

So same errors on both TS and HLS streams?

Have you tried changing the stream type in Configuration from TS to HLS And refreshing/reloading the server? Might get rid of those errors.

To backup the guide? Guide comes from the server you're using directly.

There is the Primary Player that can be switched in VOD Player options of Configuration Menu Backup Player is Libvlc, which is VLC without the UI of VLC You can also try External Player on VOD as well, and try to see if MX Player or VLC or any other player gives the same issue. Our next update of the Buzz app on X5 resolves some non fatal issues that showed up in logs, so might fix the getting kicked.

We have reproduced and located the issue for some users not being able to turn their 4900s back on. We have it fixed and are just testing it internally before we prepare and send an OTA for it Some 4500 users were also affected as well, so this fix will be applied there as well. Will keep everyone updated as to when we can release this fix via OTA Thanks -
New Update: Version 5.0.787 Nov 10th, 2022. - Fixed a crash bug when changing categories/channels - Fixed a bug on MAC Servers getting stuck on loading channel list. - Fixed some XC Login API bugs. - Fixed a bug with Date/Time on Modern Home Screen - Fixed a bug with Catch-Up not working past one day on some servers - Fixed a bug on missing EPG Descriptions on some servers Sent to all Devices running Buzz 5 on Android 9 And all Beta Users.

New Update Nov 10th, 2022 Version 5.0.786 - Fixed Cannot Load Portal - Rate must be positive error on MAC Servers. Sent to all users that took Version 5.0.785 for now You can get the update by opening server settings and it will download + install in the background. Or when in Server Settings, Press Menu>Settings>Check Update.

Right now a lot of the issues you have mentioned in different threads + posts on this Forum sound like an isolated issue There are tons of users using the same update as you and do not experience the issues you have, or a small amount do. Were still here to help though

The 3 users mentioned are Mods on other Forums, and help out on ours They have been using Buzz boxes for years, among many other boxes for TV, so they are very informed and here to help. And yes I'm a Moderator on this Forum.
