Like I said I don't but there will be server/box conflicts that will have to be worked out. Regarding closed captions I don't use it but I find it easy to read One of my servers have three options

they are aware of the secondary player issue i dont have any issues with default player when the channel starts playing

it would be nice if you posted info on what you have done as you have two issues for the freezing you should check the speed on the buzz not on your phone or tablet also have you tried another hdmi cable ? do your settings mach your tv?
