I can watch movies with little to no issues. But when I try to watch network television it does the black screen constantly. It started about a week or so ago. I wish I knew how to fix it

what have you tried to fix it?

I went to configuration and the video player is default or secondary. Moved to secondary and still getting black screen. I appreciate all suggestions. Hopefully I will get one that will work.

I hope they were not waiting that long for an answer..

Please check the dates of the original posts.  No point in bumping such old threads.   And in this case, it was made very clear that the issue was fixed due to a bad cable.

WOW you are pleasant… I just encountered the exact issue myself today, realized it was the refresh rate and not the cable. Thought it might be helpful for others who are dealing with the same problem.

 

Glad these forums are so welcoming, I’ll gladly see myself off them now.
