I being using my BOX the last 3 months and since Dec 10th,  my XRS4500 start losing sound,  I have to go channel up and then channel down to get audio back, but this is happening every 3 to 5 minutes,  yesterday I did the new firmware update expecting to see if its fixed but not at all.... it still losing channel audio every time image stops and go 5 seconds back and sound is lost.

Any idea on how to fix it?? workaround suggestions?

After I did a firmware update (December 19, 2020) I lost closed captions on all the channels???? What is going on???? Anyone knows what happened? Thank You!!

After the new firmware update of Dec 19, 2020, I am now losing sound on some channels and almost 80% of all channels are freezing!! These problems are in addition to losing closed caption on all Live Channels!! Before this update, everything was working fine and closed captions were working too on all channels. Anyone has a solution to these issues please? Can I go back to the previous firmware version? Thanks to all who respond.

Yes @allaboutbuzz is working on that issue ,if u use the default player it will have some CC ,only the second player lost the CC.

Well you the lucky one ,your server may accepted that ,but seams like some servers (mine and ppl that they see this problem)the CC disappeared from the secondary player ,I have CC on the primary player but is way to big fonts is not like before ,it will be nice to revert back to the older version of the buzztv untill the fix update will come but @allaboutbuzz mentioned that a fix release will be out next week 🙂

Is for beta testing ,it will be sent out by @allaboutbuzz from my understanding ,I was asking if anyone has the previous version of the buzztv app🙂 ,I will revert it back , until the beta one will be released.

there are members here that have been in the beta group for years and I don't see them posting non public info

As stated in my release notes
You cannot revert back to an older version.

 

And what I wrote to you in a PM was only that we will fix the missing sub titles issue on the Secondary Player with an update
+ we will also fix the duplicated EPG on the channel list issue.

What did I post on public info?did I post something that was classified?🙂 C'mon  I don't think saying something about a fix is on the way is such a big deal
