Opazzno_NooB
Hello, tell me why the 5.1 surround sound does not turn on. The set-top box is connected via optics to the edifier s760d, the sound track comes with 5.1 sound, but in fact it is a normal stereo. Why don't you tell me?

Opazzno_NooB
Greetings. It turns out this is still software restrictions? Will there be support for 5.1 surround sound in the future?

Thanks So to update on this bug that was reported. We looked into this. We found out Audio Passthrough for 5.1 Audio was broken on the Linux Kernel. We were able to fix it and can confirm it works via SPDIF (U5 + X5s) and HDMI for Passthrough We tried it on the Buzz 5 App + Plex + Kodi + VLC. Were just doing some more testing on it, but everything looks good so far So we will include this fix on our next OTA update scheduled for early November.
