They probably made a box especially for you.

Actually the box YOU received was customized just for you.  As soon as you plugged it in, it detected your hardware configuration, sent the configuration back to the mother ship, and it then proceeded to adapting the last remote firmware you got, to ensuring you would be frustrated.

Everything you want. But right now buying a G-series is buying a brick. You can say whatever you want, but this is a brick.

Well mine controls the volume correctly and does everything else it is supposed to So I take it that you have no idea how to run the unit

I'm sure Google will release a new firmware for the remote control. And I'm also sure it won't be in the near future.  For now I have the Buzztv as a paper weight. Stop being such a Fan Boy.

you sounds like a kid pal. I have been fan of buzz devices and their features and support from years. I almost own every model of buzztv released by buzz team in last 8 years. I appreciate their generous donations and their products never disappointment me ever. therefore, I have many people have many buzz devices in my country.

No one received a custom unit. We had to set them up just like you.

I had the same issue as you with it opening up subtitles. I then spent time working and figuring it out with the dev. Issue is resolved with a few changes in settings.

Brick? The only brick here is your thick scull.
