dishuser Posted July 10, 2023 Posted July 10, 2023 are you sure the issue isn't on server side? Quote
dishuser Posted July 10, 2023 Posted July 10, 2023 not near my hd 5 right now but in settings/configuration do you have a fast load epg setting? Quote
Biggy Posted July 11, 2023 Author Posted July 11, 2023 nothing but problems wow, media not supported error on alot of channels also, and on different playlists, already changed players still samething... Quote
Emporium Posted July 11, 2023 Posted July 11, 2023 Are you using XC type sub ? If so, from LiveTV, go to menu->settings->configuration and at the very bottom, you have a "stream type" option. Change it from TS to M3U/HLS. 1 Quote

Many services offer a 7 day EPG, and therefore once cached, you will rarely see it updating the last 2 or 3 days, and current programs are always there. Quote
Biggy Posted July 12, 2023 Author Posted July 12, 2023 the ts to m3u setting seemed to help ...other issue can't turn off the hd5 with the remote power button.....volume works but power button doesn't work at all Quote

Maestro701 Posted July 26, 2023 Posted July 26, 2023 Check that your timezone is set correctly in the settings. Make sure EPG offset matches your time zone as well. If you get media support error change the player of buzz app and make protocol ts Quote
dishuser Posted July 26, 2023 Posted July 26, 2023 haven't had to use offset for about a year now with buzz tv it auto corrects on it's own 1 Quote

Provider changed from having EPG in PST, to having it in UTC, and I did not even realize it, since all my boxes just auto adjusted. 1 Quote

I always leave new buzz boxes at "current". Service provider EPG was PST/Vancouver for the longest time like you said. I don't know when exactly they changed (probably when they switched to new servers and backend), but now it says UTC, and I did not adjust anything and everything is auto adjusted Quote

Emporium Posted July 27, 2023 Posted July 27, 2023 Yes, I don't recall if it was as of Buzztv 4, but certainly with BuzzTV 5, it does an auto adjust between time zone reported by service and time zone of the device, Simple yet effective. Quote
dishuser Posted July 27, 2023 Posted July 27, 2023 it would have to be buzztv 5 since I haven't used buzztv 4 in over 2 years on any of my devices including the sti4000 Quote
