also are you close to tv ir sensor when searching for codes? holding ok and rewind button until light blinks? then pressing channel up button every few seconds until you see the volume bar on the left?

you don't pair the arq-100 to the x5 you plug in the wifi adapter I have the first version and a lot of buttons don't work on the x5
