A little more detail please
-
You sure it's disconnected?
The remote does go to sleep and needs some time to wake
-
If you had a post on it already it's always best to post in the same thread if the subject is the same
It will save all your apps ,server info etc
-
When you say it's disconnected and go to remotes and accessories is the bt100 listed?
-
The update is for the 4900 too

In your first post you asked about changing home screen
Now you are talking about orange lines???
Try using backup/restore to save your info before reset

Oops. I did not do a hard reset. I did a reboot.
Hard reset can be a little tricky
The button is at the top of the av hole. Get the feel of pushing it in and follow the guide carefully

Don't know if this is related or not
C and p from buzz
Yes we're aware of this
Seems the DRM issue we fixed for apps like Disney +, caused videos in the web browser not to work.
We're working on fixing it.

Everything was working perfectly before the update now:
The remote is very slow to respond.
The unit is difficult to turn off.
When I turn the unit on it reboots back through Buzz flash screen to the home screen every time.
do a hard reset

If using the Mouse on the remote with IR
Its not that fast
You can adjust speeds by going to Device Preferences in Android
Go to Keyboard and Autofill
You will see a Pointer Speed Option.
You can adjust the speeds here. -
when you go to remotes and accessories it will say bt-100 if you are paired

I just recently got my XRS4500 MAX configured and it's working splendidly, however, I am struggling to pair the remote that came with it.
On first starting up the Buzz box, I was prompted to pair the remote. "OK" and "Volume down" button got the remote's LED slowly blinking. Eventually it stopped. There was no idication as to whether the remote paired or not. Each time after I restarted the Buzz box, the same thing happened. Prompted to pair, did the button combination, LED blinked for a period then stopped. In all cases, the message was that the remote was "scanning..." inthe bottom left corner. At one point I interrupted the process, at which time I was asked if I wanted to stop pairing and that the remote would be IR mode if I did. I don't believe I ever paired the remote with bluetooth, but it does work in IR mode.
When I go to BuzzTV setting and select "Remote Control" (where the option to disable backlighting can be found) i get the message "No BT-400 is paired."
I have continued to pair the two, but what should I be watching for to indicate a successful pairing. I keep trying but the LED stops blinking. Does that indicate successful pairing (hasn't in initial attempts), or do I have to keep trying until "something" happens to indicate successful pairing?
A few times i thought i was having issues pairing the second time I hit the back button and it asked me to cancel pairing
I then went to remotes and accessories and it was paired One time though it wasnt but i had no issues pairing it there
