ts streams is in xc api servers only maestro forgot you dont touch download storage,you are not downloading Its recording storage location you use

Try home page,settings ,storage Do you see your thumb drive there? Click on it and assign it to device storage Try that

Then switch back your player for live tv

if you have it set to external you need to use an external player like mx or vlc to play the video your comment about having to reboot everytime to watch live tvis unclear Post some detail

there are two media players in menu for playback Have you ried them both also try inserting a usb stick or dr sd card ,changing storage location to usb stick and see if it records to that

menu ,pvr options,recording storage location

are you doing scheduled recording?,recording from epg? have you assigned your storage? if recording to external have you formatted it?

maybe pm allaboutbuzz He might be able to look at your crash logs and figure out why

You could try clearing data in the app You will have to reinstall your server settings If that doesn't work do a reset

have you read the release notes for beta 5?

you cant create new one what you can do is lock those channels you could then go one step farther and hide the locked category

Most of the time it's user error I have no issues recording except from epg but that's a new issue You can always pm him with a link to this thread

it looks like you have tried most everything It could be a bad download? i might consider a reset but i would uninstall the ssd first you could try that or wait for allaboutbuzz for more advice If you do a reset leave the ssd out and just try recording to internal first

are you on buzz 4 or 5? what buzz version number? In buzz 5 there is an issue with recording from epg but all other ways work fine On rare occasions there have been server/box conflicts and that has to be discussed in pm with allaboutbuzz

I am not sure if the buzz 2 sw for the 3000 that I have works for the 3900 so I won't risk it Pm allaboutbuzz for this too

You have to email buzz or pm9 allaboutbuzz to get the firmware He is not always here on weekends so you might not get it till monday

There is a beta update available for buzz 5 Home page check for updates When it says no update available Type 2015 on remote If it says no beta available your mac will go on a list for next week I would wait till then to troubleshoot issues
