Ryu is correct From the dev HDMI CEC Their tv is Chinese So the CEC is selecting Chinese as the language Have to change a Cec setting

You’ve tried everything I would have suggested. You might have to wait for the dev to reply if no one else has a solution

No one received a custom unit. We had to set them up just like you. I had the same issue as you with it opening up subtitles. I then spent time working and figuring it out with the dev. Issue is resolved with a few changes in settings. Brick? The only brick here is your thick scull.

Have you sent your info to buzz support? -
Hit the menu button account info and it will tell you how many streams you are allowed Not all xc servers allow multiple streams unless you pay more

On top of dishusers post no one ever said the buzz app had anything to do with firmware

Radio? Firmware updates are sent ota and you can check from home page Buzz software is done from the menu button

Firmware is done by Google Buzz does the buzz6 app that will be on the Google playstore The manufacturer has nothing to dowith firmware

Intermittent issue - Classic does not play video after power on
