I can't figure out how to get PVR recordings from my BuzzTV and onto my Computer so that I can use them in other ways.

Can this be done?  Anyone with experience doing this?

TIA

From Internal Storage or External USB/SD Card?

Recordings get saved into either of these folders

/storage/emulated/0/Android/media/buzzxr4000.tv/
/storage/emulated/0/Android/media/com.buzz.services.pvr/

If on an External USB/SD, just plug that into a PC and look in those folders to transfer them to your PC

If on Internal Storage, you will need transfer them onto a USB to take them to your PC

How do I transfer them onto a USB?  I'm on v5 and my box is a 4500

you can also use team viewers to remote connect your box from your pc and transfer your recordings from your box to your pc.

once connected then from your pc remote connected to your box go to either

/storage/emulated/0/Android/media/buzzxr4000.tv/
/storage/emulated/0/Android/media/com.buzz.services.pvr/

and select your recordings and transfer to you pc. 🙂

In my case, I use Solid Explorer to transfer all files (since it also has network support, and I usually transfer straight to my NAS).  But many people also prefer others like ES File explorer, or others.

Hey many of the new 5 Series of Buzz boxes (maybe all), recently "Added Network sharing option which makes your internal device storage visible to other devices and computers on your home network"  🙂   So you'd be able to browse the directories directly from your home PC.
