LINDA B Posted December 26, 2022 Posted December 26, 2022 I've downloaded 2 movies using Bee tv and I can't find where they are located on the buzz box. I've used XPlore, ADM and ES Files, File Browser and I can't find on the box where they are located. Does the Buzz Tv box store them somewhere by default. I read here also that someone is using Teamviewer to download or upload and it's working for him. I could also do that and download them on my pc after any ideas anyone where are my movies located Quote

Emporium Posted December 26, 2022 Posted December 26, 2022 Been a while since I've used BeeTV, but if I recall there is no download destination defined in BeeTV since it passes off the task to a download manager. Either One Download Manager, or Advanced Download Manager which need to be installed. So the destination itself is not defined in BeeTV, but rather in the download manager you choose. The only destinations BeeTV itself defines in its settings is for the backup files of it's internal config, and watch histories, etc.. Anyhow, this is NOT BuzzTV specific, this is 3rd party app, so it does not really belong in this forum. This is a BuzzTV support forum. 1 Quote

Instead, the app usually saves files in: Internal storage → Android → data → com.beetvapp → files (or a similar hidden directory). Some versions of BeeTV store downloads inside the “Movie” or “Download” folder on internal storage, but they may not show up in normal file explorers because Android 11+ and some TV boxes restrict access. That’s why when you searched with Xplore, ADM, or ES File Explorer, you didn’t see them—those folders can be hidden or protected. How to Locate Your BeeTV Downloads Check BeeTV Settings – Open BeeTV, go to Settings, and look for the Download Path option. This will tell you where files are being saved. Use X-Plore with Root Permissions – In some boxes, you may need to grant extra access for X-Plore or ES File Explorer to see hidden app folders. Connect via PC (TeamViewer or USB) – Like you mentioned, some users connect their Buzz TV box to a PC and then navigate through hidden folders. This often reveals the files. Change Download Location – In BeeTV settings, you can select a custom folder (like “Movies” on your internal or external storage) so future downloads are easier to find. Bottom line: Yes, the movies are stored locally on your Buzz TV box, but BeeTV usually hides them inside its app folder. Setting a custom download path in the app is the easiest fix moving forward.
