Gav Posted October 8, 2023 Posted October 8, 2023 Hi all, hopefully I'm in the right place. I recently purchased an XRS4900 X5, every morning when I turn it on from standby mode, the portal has disappeared and I have to reload it. Has anyone else came across this. Many thanks Quote
Gav Posted October 8, 2023 Posted October 8, 2023 Luckily I have everything backed up, but don't know what's causing it, my connection is an xc api, bit of a pain. Quote
Emporium Posted October 8, 2023 Posted October 8, 2023 Welcome to the forum. First of all, is it a 4900 or an X5 ? They are 2 different machines  Both great units, but just saying. I have never seen that issue, but If you have tried everything else, have you tried doing a full reset ? Here is the link for reset of 4500, but procedue is same for most buzz untis: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9l1x3KJl_jE Have you tried changing the powerkey definition from suspend to shutdown, to see if it survives the full shutdown ? Maybe some glitch with the suspend option. What is your model, and the installed Firmware and BuzzTV version.  Quote
Gav Posted October 8, 2023 Posted October 8, 2023 Thanks very much for the welcome, It's an XRS4900, latest update is V20220923. I'll try changing the power key this evening to see if there is any change. Quote
Gav Posted October 11, 2023 Posted October 11, 2023 I think this may be now sorted, I have changed from wifi to lan, the box is set to shut down. Login in type is, fast, EPG source, XML EPG, stream source, default. I get the the odd timeshift error or stream format not supported, but soon sorts itself out. 2 Quote
