Hi

My box has updated as follows

5.0.774  dated 10.04.22

version 20220106  (2.211105)

is it possible to update to

X5 Firmware 5.0.766

Version 20220919

Dated 22nd September 2022

I tried ota and just says no update?

this is 4900s thread. do you have 4900 or x5? if 4900 then buzztv .774 is latest and you won't be able to downgrade to buzztv app .766

if you have 4900 and try install x5s firmware then it won't work.

If you have a 4900, then .774 is the latest buzztv 5 version available.  You can not "downgrade" to .766.   And unless there is specific reason (feature/bug), I don't see the logic behind that.

For firmware, well that is specific to every box and not upgraded as often as buzztv5.  The firmware on one box has no relation to the firmware on another.

Not all boxes are upgraded at the same time to the same BuzzTV 5 level.  Android 9 and Android 11 boxes can sometimes be a few version off from each other.

thanks for the explanation and l am very happy with my box  didnt relise the differance between x5 and xrs 4900 thought they were the same box appreciate your help
