Macman_ca Posted March 27 Posted March 27 Last couple of nights I haven't been able to see the TV guide. When I hit guide on the buzz remote it kicks me to my server settings. I select the server and it shows it refreshing etc then goes to the guide, but no info. can't see any shows ahead or behind? Doesnt matter which server I use. same issue. I use the 3 line button on the remote to refresh and nothing changes. Goes back to single channel. Thoughts? Quote
Emporium Posted March 27 Posted March 27 MAC or XC type connection ? I know that for MAC type connections there is a new version coming soon which includes "Fixed EPG Loading on MAC for Some Servers". Obviously it depends on the server however. For XC, I have not had an issue (at least with the 2 servers I mainly use - and you know one of the servers at least ). Maybe something has glitched ? I'm assuming you went into menu and "cleared EPG" to force a reset ? Try changing EPG source (server vs xml) ? Is it just in "guide" view or even in channel list view (where you see what's playing and a few more) ? backup, clear storage on buzztv 6 app and then restore maybe ? Quote

So it seems to be in buzz tv part. Both servers have the same issue. I go to guide, no information. It kicks me to the server connect info box and both are showing. Connected. Viscious loop. Quote

XC defaults to using XML EPG Mac uses a different method Could be that the EPG is up on the XML but down on Server method via MAC MAC only has one method for EPG, XC in Configuration can use XML or Server 5 Quote

Emporium Posted March 28 Posted March 28 Since they are both XC, have you tried switching EPG source (menu->settings->configuration - and scroll down to EPG Source), to switch between xml and server epg, as mentioned by aab above ? Quote
Macman_ca Posted March 30 Author Posted March 30 Still having issues with guides. Both types have issues. some channel info, other none. So you can't select a show time slot only go up and down in the channels. Quote
Debuzzed Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago I’m having this issue on 4 Buzz B5 boxes in my house.. all are saying; ==cannot load EPG == My other buzz boxes on the same servers are fine, but these B5’s all are doing the same thing.. just started a week ago. I have factory reset, clear cache, clear EPG, change MAC address… nothing works Quote
