Buzztv power station 6

I just purchased my buzztv powerstation 6 and set it up. However, my tv screen constantly blinks. Sometimes this happens every 30 seconds or so and sometimes it blinks every couple of minutes. This issue has never occurred before with my tv and only started when using the buzztv device. I have done the following to fix this issue: 1.) unplugged and switched out the hdmi cord (tried 2 different hdmi cords), 2.) plugged the hdmi cord into a different hdmi outlet on the tv, 3.) unplugged the buzztv device and started it back up to restart the system. However, none of these have worked to fix the constant tv screen blinking. The tv screen blinking is very quick but has become annoying and I’m not sure what else to do. Maybe there is something in the settings to fix this or perhaps it’s a hardware malfunction with the buzztv device. Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated

Have you tried a different hdmi?

He did say that he has tried 2 different HDMI cables and different ports on the TV.

However I am not in front of my box, but I vaguely remember someone else having a similar issue and I believe it was resolved by turning off Auto Frame rate option.  But not sure where it would be (since I m not home, in front of my box now).   But it is something to check out in the settings/device preferences.  Maybe under hdmi settings or something.
