Changes:

- Added New QR/Web Server Feature to Server Settings to allow you to edit or add new servers remotely via Code or QR on a website
- Fixed Subtitles Bugs
- Updated Primary and Backup Players
- Fixed Catch-Up Bugs

how do we fix this update, my x5 is stuck in a constant reboot after applying the update.

i can enter the android factory reset screen, but I'm afraid of wiping out the buzztv bootloader, help would be appreciated

The app update was fine 

The OTA update corrupted looks like I have 2 boxes with a flashing Buzz logo

so how do you load 954 when you can't even get into the setup menu?

yup, just did the factory reset, now i have to reprogram everything, sucks, but it's working,

 

unplug - power off

long tooth pick in the AV port until you hear a click

plug in - power on

wait until you hit the factory reset screen

select factory reset

that's why I always make a backup anytime I make changes

Is there a spot to put this file on usb stick.  I have an E5 that won't reset from the logo screen.

Have you tried a hard reset ? Procedure is the same as other boxes.

An no, if you have not backed it all up before it hanging, you are out of luck.

Just did the update, my settings are now missing and when I click on Live TV, the Buzz5 logo appears for a second then boots me back to the main page.  
 

Is a factory reset the only option?  If I do that, will it not ask me to update again, with the same issue?

did you try to reboot your device? if no then try to reboot first and see if that helps. if yes then you can try clear cache first by going to settings from Home Screen, apps, click on buzz tv 5 from recently opened apps, and clear cache only and try to reopen app and see if that helps. if not then you can try clear data within same settings but this will erase buzz tv 5 settings including your server settings.

I was checking my server settings, but I don't see any QR code. I can log in via my browser and add a new server, but there's no ability to edit existing ones. Am I missing something?

what's your buzztv software info? press menu and look all the way at the bottom. if its not new then click update

READ the server page.  It says to press "i" key for the QR code.  And once in QR code, you can switch it to traditional IP mode instead of server cloud based/

which model do you have? when you go to server settings, press info button, do you see it says switch to web method? try to reboot your box and see if that helps.

Press the info button

Will see QR code or url you can go to with Code.
