I don't think there has been any hard limit since BuzzTV 4.  

On BuzzTV 2, sure, I think you had 10 MAC/XC slots, and an addition 2 or 3 for M3U at the bottom.  But that all changed with BuzzTV 4 and has been pretty much the same since then.
