P6 Ultimate Powers on automatically

Hi,

 

So I have a new P6 and am experiencing something I find strange.  Every morning my tv is turned on automatically since the connection of the P6 Ultimate and have been unable to find any setting that controls this feature. So fare the only method to keep the tv powered off until required is to unplug the HDMI cable.

 

Any ideas to fix would be appreciated.

Also having the same issue. My issue is mostly that when I turn off the box, it turns off, then 10 seconds later, it turns back on and also turns the TV on. I have played around with the CEC settings on the P6, and it still happens periodically. I am convinced it's a bug causing this issue, as it's intermittent.

I assume you have tried changing HDMI cable ?

Hard to really tell if the issue is the TV or the P6 having a bug, since CEC can work both ways.  Have you tried turning CEC off on both TV and the box, to see which one of the 2 turns on if CEC is turned off ?
