Jean-Luc
Just bought the u5, the light in the front goes from blue to red after 15mins or so... Is there a way just to have it stay blue and on? It stayed on and blue until I restarted it with my 4900... I checked the settings but can't seem to find that setting... I must be dumber than I thought... Thank you
dishuser
this happens when using it?
Emporium
First of all, please post the firmware (V202xxxxxx) and software version (5.0.xxx) your box has installed presently. Should be able to find it in the Updates screen. Secondly, is this when you are watching something, or while it is idle at the home screen ? Is the TV connected still powered on, or powered off ? If using HDMI-CEC then the TV can trigger the box to go into sleep mode. Are you using the power supply that came with the unit ? The 4900 and the U5 (and P6) use a 12V power supply. Most other Buzz boxes use only a 5V. A 5V power supply will be able to start the box and be used for some things, but can cause undesired effects. And I still don't understand where the 4900 comes into play here. What does it have to do with the U5 ?
Jean-Luc
I'm using the power supply that came with the U5... It happens when not using it, just doing something else and leaving the box on... I'm just saying that it didn't do this with my 4900 when using my 4900 when leaving the box on when I wasn't home...sorry to confuse you... Lawrence Calhoun
My record feature suddenly stopped working. I program the end time and enter the program. Yet the red record indicator does not appear at the top right of the screen. When i go to listing the red indicator appear with a message that says searching for stream. But nothing happens. It does not record. But earlier this morning it worked perfectly.
Emporium
And you sure that the recording destination is still valid (ie: USB stick or drive has not crashed). Using MAC or XC ? Do you have multiple connections available ? If using XC, if you go to menu->settings->account settings and see how many connections max and active are listed.
