as for resolution I use auto and have no issues on a 720,1080 and 4k tv's

since you posted in 2 different sections what model do you have?

I use backup for vod/tv series on one of the servers I use

external worked but then you have to manually mark it as played

try external player

keep in mind sometimes vod/tv series don't play instantly

try a different video player

menu/settings/configuration

version 4.4.11 is available on aptoide tv

what does this have to do with the app?

I suggest you get familiar with the site and learn where to post

just use your phone or pc to load server info

You can press the info button 2x to see more info about what you're watching.  As mentioned here already

Or press the right button to access Single EPG for the channel you're watching and see future shows + descriptions for all of them.

having to pick through the choices of time advance seems a lot slower to me than just pressing the ff button once or multiple times

I press ok button and channel list comes up

I scroll up or down to a different channel and press info button
