epg is coming from server when using mac

unless they fix it your hands are tied using mac

plus majority of services give more than one connection using xc api or m3u so you record or download while watching a different channel

this is why you're given options

if backup works for vod(I and many others use it and am pretty sure it's the default setting)then use it

you don't get any epg options using mac

I use xc api and get 7 days of guide in seconds

but sure I can see how that isn't helpful

see if the service can switch you to xc

go to app store (aptoide) and download/install the one you want

mine is blue or red for on off

green is for internet

I thought green was for ethernet?

Thanks for these suggestions, thought maybe there was a setting on the box that may be effecting the remotes because they will work on the old box.

the remote is not bluetooth

make sure you're using the usb adapter that came with the remote

hopefully it's a bt remote since they never said

I only use cec with my 5 series devices since remote is very limited compared to the bt-200

I'm considering using bubble wrap for it...lol

with cec on it only takes one push to shut down box and tv

next power up requires both power buttons as usual if cec was turned off

I've never seen force max volume

what steps to get to that?

if you set up learn for tv functions cec worx correctly

of course you need to press red power button to turn tv back on

you set up the remote to be that way

that's not a bug
